AngoSAP: Transforming lives through psychology and education
The AngoSAP project aims to create and develop a Center for Psychological and Psychoeducational Diagnosis and Guidance (CDOP) at the Óscar Ribas University (UÓR) in Angola. This centre will be transferable to other Angolan universities such as the University of Namibe, the Lueji A'Nkonde University and the Bié Pedagogical College.
The project is based on the service model of the Centre for Psychological and Psychopedagogical Care (SAP) of the University of Cadiz (UCA) in Spain and the good practices of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
AngoSAP has the potential to have a great social and educational impact at local and regional level in Angola. It will help to reshape the value of psychology as a science and profession, and to redefine the place of psycho-educational services in schools, especially in universities.
This Erasmus+ project aims to raise awareness, systematize knowledge, train professionals and create collaborative networks. Involves diverse actors from university communities to ensure sustainability of good practices.
The methodology is based on an inclusive education approach, attention to functional diversity, equal opportunities and gender equity.
