The AngoSAP project aims to improve psychological and psychoeducational support services in Angolan universities by transferring best practices from European institutions. This is achieved by strengthening professional capabilities, developing administrative manuals, and creating alliances for project sustainability. Knowledge Management plays a crucial role in facilitating knowledge collection and transfer among participants. The project aspires to become a success story in knowledge management to enhance the quality of these services.

Objectives

  • Strengthen individual participants' capabilities to enhance their professional activities within the project, through involvement in academic and research training processes.
  • Develop the structural capital of each participating institution through the development of administrative manuals and guides for best practices in managing psychoeducational and psychological support services.
  • Develop cooperation actions and alliances within the consortium of universities and participating institutions to create new academic and research networks contributing to project sustainability.
  • Contribute to the visibility and dissemination of the project's tacit and explicit knowledge. AE: consortium institutions and AP: associated institutions.

The conception of knowledge management in the AngoSAP project

The AngoSAP project, co-financed by the European Union through the Erasmos + program, is a project to transfer internationally recognized best practices in psychological and psychoeducational support services for students from the University of Cádiz, Spain, along with results from the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, Germany. This project is fundamentally based on knowledge management, as its essence focuses on the formation of human capital and the transformation of individual participants' knowledge into formalized knowledge in each of the Psychological and Psychoeducational Diagnostic and Guidance Centers (CDOPs) created under the project in Angolan consortium universities.

Knowledge management is crucial in this project, as it encompasses all tasks and is essential for the success of psychological and psychoeducational support services. The transformation of individual knowledge into formalized knowledge is a process that requires collaboration and coordination among participants, and this is where knowledge management becomes a key element in service development.

Expected Impact on CDOPs

The AngoSAP project seeks to strengthen the capabilities of professionals in psychological and psychoeducational support services, as well as to improve the quality of services provided to university students. Knowledge management is essential to achieve these objectives, as it enables the collection, documentation, and transfer of knowledge and experiences among participants. This not only facilitates communication and teamwork but also allows for the identification of best practices and the implementation of innovative solutions.

Knowledge management in the AngoSAP project focuses on creating a knowledge management system that spans all phases of the project, from planning to evaluation. This includes defining processes and roles, documenting experiences and lessons learned, and implementing technological tools to facilitate collaboration and access to information.

Looking to the Future

The AngoSAP project aspires to become an example of how knowledge management can be used to improve the quality of psychological and psychoeducational support services in the university context. By focusing on human capital formation and transforming individual knowledge into formalized knowledge, the project seeks to create a lasting impact on the knowledge management process at each of the participating universities.

Actions in Perspective by 2025

  • Establishment and operation of the Angolan network of educational psychologists.
  • First International Congress "Psychoeduca Angola".
  • Creation of the Psychoeduca Angola Journal.
  • Implementation of the research project: evaluation of the impact and strategic development of AngoSAP.

ANGOSAP.

In the world of education student development counts, so the AngoSAP project was born with the premise of thinking of its orientation and support as a different action. We want our innovative approach to student well-being, academic success and socio-emotional learning to be reflected in every aspect of our work, from specialized services to visual aesthetics. Our motto: "A hand is all you need"; it’s simple and clear and says exactly what the recipient needs to know: we’re here to support you on your educational journey. Imagine an outstretched hand, ready to provide support every step of the way. A warm, calm and serene ocean; a sea where your mind can find effective strategies while facing the different situations and turbulence that challenge you. From deep blue to light blue, each tone evokes our vision and reflects our shared commitment to individual stability and growth.
