Attention to people deprived of liberty is considered internationally as a human right, today there is a proliferation of research and projects with proposals for re-education in contexts of confinement from different approaches, including human rights.
In Angola, this dimension of analysis is also emphasized, in the Newspaper of Angola, May (2019); Also in the Jornal de Angola (2011), there are statements by senior officials referring to the guarantee of the application of said rights in the Angolan judicial system. In addition, the training and technical training actions of the agents are described, to promote respectful treatment, assertive communication, seeking to improve the process of humanization of the services provided and, in particular, the reintegration and social rehabilitation of people in prison. as part of a responsible and humanized treatment.
However, the information disseminated on scientific communication platforms contains very few references to results obtained in re-education processes, or educational attention to persons deprived of Liberty, the contributions of Agostinho et al. (2018) on moral education and moral values in young people confined in prisons in Viana. The background described shows the social need to increase the amount of research and projects that provide proposals to strengthen educational actions for the re-education, re-socialization and subsequent social reinsertion of these people.
